He earned a master’s of business administration (MBA) degree in finance and investments from Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree in engineering with honors from Iowa State University.
Jim is active with church and community organizations. He has served as a member of the finance committee there since 2018.
Fitness and health are important to Jim, and hot yoga is one way he devotes time to these priorities each day.
“It’s invigorating and physically challenging. It just makes me feel good about myself,” he said. “I’m not patient enough to do it on my own, so I go to formal classes. I’ve never aspired to be a yoga instructor, but I can see how being a financial advisor is similar in terms of helping clients make positive change in their lives.”
